Now THIS is the way to pay tribute to those talents that we have lost. A well thought out, well executed idea that is a functional collectors item. Eff throwing together more post-humous releases (although Dilla has had the best of any dead artist IMO) these types of projects are where things should be headed.Serato and Stones Throw are joining forces with Dilla's estate to release the Donut Shop. The package will consist of two vinyls with six Dilla tracks - 3 on each vinyl and the serato control tone on the flipside - and 2 donut slipmats (DOPE). Set to release May, 10th.
