Aloe Blacc Live at KEXP
This was one of the coolest things I've been a part of since I started volunteering with El Mizell on Street Sounds at the beginning of the year. We went in to do a taping of Aloe Blacc and he had brought along members of the group Quetzal to play along for two of his four songs. I was sitting in on the performance and he asked me to film the last few songs. How could I say no?
This is the last song of the set entitled "Politician" and he went into a improvised whistling solo at the end that really brought it home nicely.

SOTA x KEXP
So a couple of weeks back, SOTA had the opportunity to go live on air with Marco Collins during the mid day show on KEXP and perform the next day at Seattle Center for their Concerts at the Mural series. It was a pretty awesome experience. Performing live for thousands of listeners followed by an absolutely stunning day at the mural stage is going to go down as one of the highlights of my summer. We owe a lot to the station for helping make SeaCal as successful as its been and were ecstatic when they provided us with this opportunity to gain some new fans.

KEXP Seattle Center Proposal
KEXP SEATTLE CENTER PROPOSAL from KEXP RADIO on Vimeo.
If you have a chance you should get down to the center house at Seattle Center from 6-8pm and speak in support of KEXP's proposal. Take a gander at the video and understand the value in bringing some much needed substance to that huge pile of boring that sits on some of the most valuable real estate in town.

JFK on Street Sounds
JFK stopped by the KEXP studio a few weeks back to promote the release of his latest album "Building Wings on the Way Down." He threw down a pretty incredible performance and brought Candidt, Mr Hill and 18 friends named Bud Light. We partied.
I make some very memorable cameos.
